NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell just might let New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton coach this upcoming season. In order for Payton to maybe coach in 2012, he must appeal his suspension by April 2nd, one day after his year-long suspension starts.

“I said in a letter they have to appeal by April 2, I believe,” Goodell said Monday at the NFL owners meeting in Palm Beach, Fla. “If he decides to appeal, I probably will allow him to continue and I would expedite the hearing and I would expedite my decision. According to Sean Payton's agent, Donald Yee, said “no decisions have been made about an appeal” by his client.

Will coach Payton appeal his suspension? We will have more on this story as it continues.
