Well, if you were hoping for a Led Zeppelin reunion anytime soon, well, you best not keep your hopes up. It was reported that vocalist Robert Plant "ripped" up a reunion contract that was worth $800 million dollars.

Sir Richard Branson is the money man behind the reunion contract, which other members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones had agreed and signed. Jason Bonham would have filled in for his late father, John. Plant's reason behind ripping the contract in two was that he felt that the time wasn't right for the reunion.

The reunion contract was for 35 shows to take place in three cities. Those cities would have been London, Berlin and somewhere in New Jersey. Plant, Page and Jones would have made over $200 million dollars each just for performing the dates and another $100 million dollars in merchandise profits would have been split between the members.

Branson would have also provided the band with their own private jet. The contract also has an extension option to add an additional 45 shows if the band had agreed.
