Police Officer Freaks Out On Driver Who Says He Knows His Rights [Video]

It seems these days that a lot of drivers have dash cams installed in their vehicles to catch cops doing things they are not supposed to do. In this video, a driver was stopped for a roadside safety check. When the cop simply asks the guy for his driver's license and proof of insurance, the driver asks if he is being detained and says that he has the right to not show them his license.

The driver then keeps telling the officers that he has the right to not show them, the other officer rips his door open and threatens him to show him what they asked for. This is a situation in which the driver should have just shown them his license. Why make a big deal out of it. I think he was purposely trying to get the cop to do something illegal.

The driver even told the cop, "you are being recorded". I don't know where to side on this one. The driver shouldn't have told the first cop no and just showed them what they asked. Then, the other cop should not have freaked out like that. What do you think?
