I like the name "Cajundome." It's unique, and it fits well with the locale. But there is room for improvement. The "Aaron Lane Entertainment Cajundome" sounds much nicer (at least in my book). If you've ever wanted to name an extremely large, local multipurpose venue after yourself, now you have the chance! And, you can support a great cause at the same time. Check out the press release:

(LAFAYETTE, LA - January 25, 2012) - For the last 10 years CAJUNDOME
management has raised money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Acadiana.
Each year we work to steal great ideas that will generate awareness for the disease while
utilizing activities at the facility. This year we are stealing a great idea from our friends in Boston. In 2004, when the Bank of America acquired the FleetBoston Financial company and withdrew its exclusive
naming rights to the Boston FleetCenter, home of the Celtics and Bruins, the 10 year old
arena would have no name and had to scramble for a solution. From their name rights
problem was born a great charity fund raising idea.

The CAJUNDOME will auction off the name of our facility on EBAY for Mardi Gras
weekend. February 17 – 21 the CAJUNDOME will sport a new name.
Think of this as your opportunity to own “in name only” a piece of
HIGH PROFILE REAL ESTATE: Cozy 500,000 sq ft estate, best building on the
block, xlnt cond, close to 2 hwys. Must see or name. 835 car attached parking spaces,
5,000 sq foot kitchen, world class ent. center built in. Large enclosed BB court and area
w/ sauna and 135 bathroom stalls and plenty of closet space. Pets allowed including

Bidding will be open to any INDIVIDUAL, GROUP OR BUSINESS and the highest
bidder will name the arena anything they want as long as it isn’t profane or offensive.

14th. What a great Valentine’s gift!! What a great memory!! What a great marriage
proposal!! You get the idea.. It’s your DOME in name only for five days!!
The winner will receive naming rights on the marquee for the 5 days of Mardi Gras
(Friday thru Tuesday), and VIP tickets to all ticketed events in March. All proceeds will
go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Acadiana.
