New Orleans Convenience Store Armed Robbery – Clerk Fights Back With Beer Bottle [Video]

Last night (4/12) a New Orleans convenience store was robbed at gunpoint. That didn't stop one of the clerks from grabbing a beer bottle and hitting the robber!

Police say that a woman, armed with a pistol, entered the store demanding money. While the employee was filling a backpack with cash, she laid the gun down.

One of the two store clerks, a 60-year-old man, grabbed a beer bottle and moved the suspect's gun, according to New Orleans police. He struck the suspect over the head with the bottle.

Unfortunately, the suspect did flee the scene with cash.
