Metallica Completes New Album With Lou Reed

Ever since Metallica had the pleasure of performing with Lou Reed at the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden in October of 2009, the heavy metal band has been kicking the idea of a collaboration album with Reed. So far there has been no announcement on a release date. But it will be a full-length album and more details will be announced at a future date. Lou Reed is the guitarist, vocalist and primary songwriter of The Velvet Underground as well as a successful solo artist.
