Louisiana Teacher Arrested For Sending Student Nude Photos

A Natchitoches Central High School teacher was arrested for sending nude pictures to a 17-year-old student.

27-year-old Nickol Smith was arrested last Friday after the city's High Tech Crime Unit found the pictures on her, and the boy's phone. She bonded out of jail for $2,000.

Smith was booked with one count of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student. If convicted, she faces up to six months in prison and a $1,000 fine.

Her status at the school was not known.
