If you think yourself a hot sauce connoisseur, then the Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival in Lafayette this weekend is the place for you!

Honestly, even if you're not a connoisseur, this is still a lot of fun. Specialty hot sauce makers from around the globe are making their way to Acadian Village this weekend for the first Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival.

There will be over 100 vendors selling their products. The festival will have 30 different hot sauce makers from 19 states and three countries on hand, many of which you'll be able to try out! And it won't just be sauces either...there will also be 9 bloody mary mix makers!

In addition to all the sauces and bloody mary mixes, there will be arts and crafts makers there showing off their designs.

Live music from six different bands will keep spectators entertained, hosted by Cajun comedian Nonk Chauz.

The Louisiana Hot Sauce Festival will be happening at Acadian Village Saturday and Sunday (July 19 and 20). It will open at 10am and close at 6pm both days.
