Jonathan Davis of KoRn Discusses His Painful Lyrics

Ever wonder why Jonathan Davis of KoRn constantly revisits such painful themes in his lyrics?He's simply writing about what he's familiar with. Davis recently talked with rocknewsdesk.com, and says "I've always written about what I've been dealing with. It might be because of my background growing up, being called 'freak' by kids in Bakersfield, that those themes are natural to me."

He says his own proudest achievement with the band is their Untouchables album and he's looking forward to releasing their latest project, a dubstep LP made in collaboration with Skrillex and other DJs: "It's come out to be some very interesting stuff."
