Foxy Shazam ROCKED Tipitina's in Uptown New Orleans last night (4/24/12)!!! The moment they stepped out on stage, a smile came across my face...and it never left. They are the epitome of a fun show. Their 90 minute set seemed like 40 at best, cause time flies when you're havin fun! Check after the jump for lots of pics and video from the show, and you'll see what I mean!

Here's some pics from the show!

Eric Nally is the lead singer of Foxy Shazam. That guy is a piece of work in the best way possible! He never stopped throughout the entire set! At one point he took a shot with their tour manager and proposed this toast:

"May the devil cut off the toes of our foes so that we may know them by their limping"

I love it!

His little stories and quips in between songs were HIGHLY entertaining! For instance...this video is 2/3 of the intro to this song. It started with him saying that Tipitina's (or TAPitina's as he called it) called him to play the show for something like $250 million, but he turned it down cause he wanted to spend time with his family...here's the rest:

And here's a story he told about him being 3-4 years old, and writing their song 'Ghost Animals.' NSFW due to some language.

And during 'Ghost Animals' Nally jumped up on the shoulders of guitarist Loren Turner to rock out for awhile, and then continued his crazy antics! One of my favorite moves he does is the 'knee drop pop-up continue to rock' move. Awesome. He does it in this video. Check it:

I had heard about this little segment in the Foxy Shazam show, but totally didn't believe it. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to tell you that Eric Nally asks fans for cigarettes, he then lights around 5 cigarettes at once, and then EATS THEM!!! And then proceeds to headbang for a good minute and a half. You don't have to take my word for it, cause here's the video of him doing exactly that.

Annnnnd, one of the best exits I've seen in awhile, "If you're a girl and you're in the audience, you might want to go to the doctor tomorrow because you're probably pregnant."
