Former LSU Star Football Player Kyren Lacy Has Died
(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - Former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy passed away last night.
Details on his death are limited now, but the former LSU football player hoped to get drafted in the upcoming NFL Draft.
As you may recall, Lacy was charged with negligent homicide after allegedly being involved in a felony hit-and-run in December 2024. As a result, he was not invited to the NFL combine to showcase his talents, but he did recently participate in the LSU pro day in Baton Rouge.
A grand jury was set to hear his case tomorrow, Monday, in connection with the fatal hit-and-run crash.
In 2024, Lacy caught 58 passes for 866 yards and nine touchdowns.
Kyren Lacy was 24 years old and was from Thibodaux, Louisiana. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
