Carencro, Louisiana Restaurant Announces Closure After 6 Years
The Bus Stop Bistro, a community favorite in Carencro, Louisiana, announced it will be closing its doors on Tuesday afternoon.
Owners Jay Thornhill and Charles Von Aspern thanked the community for six years in business in a farewell post on social media.
The Next Chapter for The Bus Stop Bistro
While it is bittersweet to hear that The Bus Stop Bistro is closing its Carencro location, the good news is you can still get your hands on Chef Charles von Aspern's creations at the recently opened beer garden, The Yard Goat.
While the menu at The Yard Goat is not an exact replica of what you would find at their previous location, it is the perfect curation of elevated bar food. Whether you get the potato skins, the OG Burger, or the Fried Brussel Sprouts, you can trust that it will complement whatever beverage you decide to sip on while you kick back and relax underneath the oak trees.
The Patio Bar of Lafayette's Dreams
The Yard Goat has Lafayette written all over it. The massive beer garden encompasses three things locals love: alcohol, food, and the outdoors.
With 46 beers on tap, a large wine selection, and both regular and frozen cocktails, you are bound to find something you will enjoy sipping on while you hang out with friends on the patio or playing corn hole.
