Household Hazardous Waste Day is May 4th in Lafayette
Lafayette Consolidated Government will hold their semi annual Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday May 4th at Cajun Field. From 8:00 am - noon, you can properly dispose of household chemicals and electronics safely and at no cost. In order to participate, you must be living within the City of Lafayette or unincorporated areas of the parish.
According to our TV partners at KATC : In addition to the typical chemicals for disposal such as paint, poison, chemical cleaners, gasoline and mercury, this edition of the popular disposal day will include an electronic waste disposal option, sponsored by CGI and Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council (CACRC).
Lafayette Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be the recipient of donated latex paint that will be re-blended and re-packaged.
