Houma Substitute Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Sleeping With 3 Students

Unfortunately, we have another report of alleged sexual misconduct in Louisiana between a teacher and students. One of the students as young as 12-years-old.

Louisianaradionetwork.com reports that 30-year-old Heidi Verret, a substitute teacher in Houma, La has been arrested for allegedly sleeping with three students. Police say Verret also participated in inappropriate sexual conversations with a 12-year-old via social media.

The investigation found that Verret was having inappropriate conversations with a 12-year-old on social media. Detectives say they later found that Verret had sex with three teenagers at her home over the course of several months. The ages of the victims ranged from 15 to 16-years-old.

Verret now faces one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile stemming from the social media behavior with a 12-year-old, and three counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
