YAKk's music is based on a character called YAKkMan, a character who is half yak and half human. Shunned by humanity, YAKkman is forced to take on society and all of its obstacles. The character allows the music to have interesting, relevant themes but at the same time allows the band freedom to explore these themes via some off the wall situations.
After months of hard work, the band has just finished "Bos Grunniens," their first EP, and are currently booking shows. Check out their track called "Appetite For Flesh":
