Cut Through the Dawn was created solely by lead guitarist and vocalist, Justin Doan. The general concept of all of the music are stories based on metaphorical reiterations and sometimes literal events that have happened throughout his life. The music is very powerful in that the tales can almost be told solely by the music itself. A great deal of time, thought, and passion went into each and every tune.
Although the first full-length (Silence: Part1) has not been released yet, 6 albums have already been written for the project over the course of 5 years of research, lessons, and hands-on experience due to his burning will to not fail at achieving his dreams. Each album features 10 "songs," but essentially from start to finish, all 6 hours of material are bound together through instrumentals to make one enormous symphonic story.
In May of 2012 he finally found the members for the live show for the band and have been hard at work learning the extremely difficult material. It is now time to start gaining recognition and experience through shows in local and distant areas and build their business and franchise. Check out their track 'Comatose Eyes':
