It's now time for Match 7 in the first round of the Grindhouse Battle! This time it's Bearfighter versus Psychometry!

With members from a variety of past popular bands local to the Lafayette/Baton Rouge areas of Louisiana, Bearfighter was formed in early 2010 and has quickly risen past what their former projects had achieved. Combining a mix of catchy/poppy choruses with heavy southern rock breakdowns and a party vibe through out to bring it all together, Bearfighter sounds like that one huge party you had in college that you'll never forget. Psychometry is a phantom band, which contains members from a variety of genres. It is their goal to blend these genres together in new innovative ways. While Psychometry's core members reside in Louisiana, they have utilize the skills from many musicians from across the world. it is their goal to be known as a collection of composers rather than a band. Grammy Winner, Malik Yusef, stated, "Psychometry is more than a band. It is a movement." His words seemed to ring true to date as Psychometry continues to move forward releasing music featuring artists from across the US and abroad.
