You can own the lyric notebook of Freddie Mercury, arguably the best frontman to ever get on stage!

The UK auction house Bonhams has come across an awesome, yet extremely rare item. That item is a notebook that Mercury and his Queen bandmates used to write lyrics for songs that came toward the end of his life. The notebook spans nearly three years, from 1988-1990.

Bonhams is known to sell handwritten/original lyric sheets, but they've never seen something as ample as this.

“We see and sell lyrics from all sorts of different artists but they tend to be one piece of paper for one song,” said Stephen Maycock, a consultant specialist in entertainment memorabilia at Bonhams. “To have a notebook which contains tracks recorded over a three-year period is really exceptional. I can’t think of another one.”

The notebook contains original handwritten lyrics for 19 songs from two records, including "The Show Must Go On."

It is an inside look into Mercury's dealing with dying from AIDS. There's even thoughts and passages written inside.

The auction containing the notebook will be on June 29th. The estimated price range they're expecting to get for the notebook is between $70,000-$100,000.

I'm gonna be honest, that just seems low to me.
