Ex-New Orleans Saints Safety Darren Sharper Arrested On Rape Charges

Former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of rape.

TMZ.com reports that law enforcement officials in Los Angeles County say that he has been linked to 2 different sexual assaults. One that happened this past October and the other one being in January of this year.

He was booked into the Los Angeles County jail and his bail is set for $200,000. His court date is set for Friday, February 14th.

Sharper, who currently serves as an analyst on the NFL Network, was immediately suspended without pay. The NFL Network or Sharper have yet to make an official statement as of yet.
