Elephants Stop 18-Wheeler From Tipping Over On Interstate 49

Sheriff's deputies in Natchitoches Parish responded to a call on Tuesday morning that you just don't hear about every day. An 18-wheeler was stranded on the side of Interstate 49 but was tipping over. The deputies arrived to find two elephants holding the truck up from tipping over.

There were three circus elephants on the truck that were being transported from New Orleans to a circus in Dallas. Authorities with the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office said that the truck became stuck after the driver pulled onto the shoulder on Interstate 49 near Powhatan. They also stated that no citations were issued.
