Have you received a call from (202) 210-0054? It's an incoming call from Washington D.C.  The general consensus is it's a scam! Both myself and Tard received calls from this number. The best thing to do...Do not answer calls from (202) 210-0054.

With all the NSA spying that's been brought to light, when I saw a phone number from Washington D.C. come up on my phone, I immediately got excited/scared/aggravated. I thought to myself, this isn't very inconspicuous. So, I went ahead and answered it.

When I answered there was nothing. I said, "Hello" a few times, and there was nothing there. Then a tone came on, and a recorded female voice said, "Goodbye".

This got me freaked out! Is the government coming for me??? So, I took to google. Turns out it's some crap scam. They are routing the number through Washington D.C.

While my call only featured silence, a tone, and a recording, many people have talked to actual people. In my google search it brought me to 800notes. This website is a strength in numbers kinda deal because the users are the ones who build it. They report the numbers and find who they are. The more people that use it, the better the website. And there's A LOT of users.
