Detectives Head To Lafayette To Interview Teen Who Was Kidnapped & Stabbed

Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives are coming to Lafayette to interview Ashley Lyon, the teen who was kidnapped and eventually stabbed by 41 year old Steven Myers.

We told you about Lyon, who was kidnapped from Florida by sex offender Myers, and after a chase ended up in Lafayette. Myers stabbed Lyon multiple times, which left her in serious but stable condition.

Detectives say that they plan to interview Lyon, who suffers from a mental disorder, while she's in hospital.

Myers is being held in Lafayette County jail and also faces charges that include attempted murder and unlawful sexual activity

Detectives from Hillborough County Sheriff's Office have obtained an additional arrest warrant for Myers. This warrant will charge him with 5 counts of using a computer/electronics to seduce and solicit a minor for sex.
