Federal agents executed a search warrant yesterday morning on the home of Jordy Robertson in Reserve Louisiana yesterday. Robertson is the father of Saints "superfan" and celebrity Jarrius "JJ" Robertson. Agents with the DEA also raided the headquarters of the It Takes Lives to Save Lives Foundation which is headquartered in LaPlace.

JJ Robertson achieved nationwide notoriety as the Saints Superfan when the team "adopted" him and his cause. The 15-year-old is battling biliary atresia, a chronic liver disease that has also stunted his growth.

JJ has been featured on many television shows and was presented an ESPN Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the 2017 ESPY Awards. The young Robertson was also presented with the WWE Ultimate Warrior Award. The teenager often travels across the country speaking about his life and his disease.

According to media reports, the reason for the raid had something to do with taxes. A spokesperson for the DEA did not reveal the actual nature of the investigation but did suggest that several state and local agencies are involved.

The It Takes A Life To Save Lives Foundation promotes awareness of the need for organ donation. Jordy Robertson, JJ's father, is listed as the manager and registered agent for the group.
