Former Saints running back Darren Sproles has found plenty of success in his first 4 games with the Eagles. Does he hope his former team does well? Don't count on it.

In a story by Mark Eckel of NJ.com, Sproles seems pretty transparent about his feeling toward his former employer.

“I felt disrespected there,’’ Sproles, who has helped the Eagles to a 3-1 start to the season, said of New Orleans and the Saints on Thursday.

“Listen I understand this is business and all of that, but (when they talked about trading him) they put it up on Twitter. That’s how I found out. There was a screen shot and a friend of mine texted it to me. I felt they did me wrong.

When asked if he knew the Saints were 1-3 and suffered a blowout loss to the Cowboys last Sunday, Sproles smiled at the reporter before acknowledging that he knew all about it.

Sproles was honored as the NFC Offensive player of the week in 2, before taking home NFL Special Teams player of the week yesterday.

New Orleans traded Sproles to Philadelphia last March for a 5th round pick. The Saints selected linebacker Ronald Powell out of Florida with the selection.
