Dana White Says Conor McGregor Planning Return To UFC By The End Of 2017 [Video]
If you've been waiting for Conor McGregor to make his triumphant return to the UFC, the wait may be over shortly.
We're already in November. There's only one more When asked about McGregor's return to the octagon, UFC President Dana White says that Conor wants to, and, not surprisingly, so does the UFC.
In the conversation with TMZ Sports, White was asked what he'd do about Conor's request of wanting "ownership" and "equity" in the UFC before he would fight again, to which he says that they always make it work with Conor. If you read between the lines, he's their most bankable star, so, yes they're going to do what they can to work it out for him to fight.
Of course, McGregor would stand to make a lot more money, too, if he were not only fighting but a co-promoter for the event.
White says, "the kid wants some money." He goes on to say Conor McGregor is worth it.
We haven't seen McGregor in the UFC in almost a year when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the Lightweight Championship at UFC 205 last November.
