Craziness Ensues When Airplane Passenger Jokes That He Has Ebola [Video]

The outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus has countries around the world worried that the virus will spread from West Africa. Just this past week, the first case in the United States was diagnosed and the patient has already died. The last thing you should do is joke that you have the virus on a commercial flight anywhere.

In the video above, a passenger on a flight from Philadelphia to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, joked by sneezing and saying out loud that "I have Ebola!" When the plane landed at Punta Cana International Airport, quarantine protocol was immediately put in place. All of a sudden, men wearing quarantine hazmat suits boarded the plane.

One of the flight attendants in the video had this to say about the incident:

I’ve done this for 36 years, and I think that the man who has said this is an idiot, and I’ll say that straight out.

After being tested, the man did not test positive for the deadly virus.
