How To Make a DIY Bucket Air Conditioner
This DIY air conditioner works on the principle of evaporative cooling or using ice to cool the air.
This idea is cheap and easy and if it really works could just help you get some relief from these high temps and get you through the next few months.
Materials Needed:
1. 5-gallon bucket with lid
2. Styrofoam liner (optional but improves efficiency)
3. PVC pipes or elbow joints (3 pieces, about 2-3 inches in diameter)
4. Small fan (battery-operated or USB-powered)
5. Ice or frozen water bottles
6. Drill and hole saw
7. Utility knife
8. Duct tape (optional for securing parts)
