College Referee Talks About LSU, A&M Controversial Calls [VIDEO]
Longtime college football referee Ken Antee talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the controversial calls at the end of Saturday night's LSU - Texas A&M football game.
Antee tells KEEL listeners that his three decades of officiating experience includes eleven years as referee for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, then nineteen years for Conference USA, including the last eight as "the white hat", i.e., the referee.
Antee says the referee from Saturday's game, Ken Austin, is an experienced official who he (Antee) worked with in the Arena Football League. "Matt's a very good person," Antee emphasizes, "And in my opinion, a good official."
Antee then addresses the games most controversial plays, including A&M stopping the clock at the end of regulation play and the pass interference call - and subsequent personal foul - against LSU defensive back Greedy Williams.
