Coldplay Set To Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show

The British rock band is set to play for the big event's 50th anniversary.

Super Bowl L, or Super Bowl 50, will be held at Levi Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.

There's been talk of 2013 headliner Bruno Mars being a part of the show, as well as other of Coldplay's close artist friends.

Previous rumors had Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift set to take the stage, but that has not been scheduled at this time.

Coldplay is set to release their seventh, and possibly final, studio album, A Head Full Of Dreams, on December 4th.
