Chicot State Park Offering Guided Canoe Tour

Want to spend a lazy day on the water? Head to Chicot State Park in Ville Platte April 16. The park will offer a guided canoe tour of Chicot Lake from 2p-4p, to help you learn more about the plants and animals that are found in it.

Space for this event is limited. You're encouraged to register early to reserve your canoe. Visitors with their own canoes or kayaks can participate, but still need to register for the event.

Chicot State Park is situated around a 2,000-acre, man-made lake, located six miles north of Ville Platte in Evangeline Parish on La. 3042.
