Casey Anthony Sentenced To 1 Year In Prison – Here’s Why

Casey Anthony has been sentenced to one year in prison  for lying to police! Anthony was found not guilty on Tuesday of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in Florida back in 2008 -- but was found guilty on four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. The penalty for lying to police is 1 year for each lie. They had her pinned down for 4 lies, therefore prosecution was going for4 years minus the 3 years she's already served. However, all the lies were in 1 conversation with police, therefore treated as as 1 lie. She will do 1 year in prison for that lie. HOWEVER, she might be released as soon as a couple of months due to that time served, plus GOOD BEHAVIOR. Killing your daughter is good behavior?!?!?!
