BREAKING [Update]: Alabama Man Headed To Talk To New Orleans Police Department About Alleged Sexual Battery Of LSU Fan

According to WWL, an Alabama man who has been named in blogs as the man who 'teabagged' an unconscious LSU fan in New Orleans after the BCS National Championship game is heading to New Orleans to talk to the NOPD.

"The newspaper in Columbus Georgia reports a man named in blogs as the person seen rubbing his testicles on a passed out LSU fan is driving to New Orleans to meet with sex crimes detectives. 

The Columbus Ledger-Inquirer says Brian Downing and his defense attorney left Russell County Alabama around 2:15pm.

The paper's Metro Editor Chuck Williams told WWL First News that they talked to Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor.

He says Taylor said that he and Downing are cousins, and that Downing and his attorney were driving to New Orleans after talking to NOPD about the case."

Downing is able to drive himself to New Orleans because there was no warrant out for his arrest.
