It's been a very long running back and forth thing between Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd about whether Murray will appear in the next Ghostbusters movie, or even IF the movie is going to get made. Well, the latest, and this is straight from Bill Murray without any other outside print sources, he says it's a possibility!

According to the Huffington Post and a video interview from WGNTV (The question is asked around 2:38):

"You can't believe everything you read." So said Bill Murray during an interview with WGN-TV sports anchor Pat Tomasulo, before offering the briefest of brief updates about the long-gestating "Ghostbusters 3."
When asked by Tomasulo if the project was a possibility, Murray echoed: "Well, it's a possibility." He then shifted into discussion about his actual movies, like "Moonrise Kingdom." Murray said that Wes Anderson's latest is one of the funniest films he's done."

Any positive is huge. Last I heard Murray had shredded the script and basically insulted Dan Aykroyd.

If you continue reading the Huffington Post's article they go on to tell what Dan Aykroyd has said about the whole thing as well.

So, even though it was the slightest hint, it's the first positive sign from Murray I've heard about in quite some time!

What do you think? Should Murray join forces with the rest of the original cast or stay away? Or do you think the film shouldn't be made at all? What are you thoughts?
