Just last week, we were commemorating the anniversary of the release of Ghostbusters II, which opened in theaters on June 16, 1989. The movie came out 28 years ago, which means the twin babies who played Sigourney Weaver’s son Oscar in the film were about that age too. That makes this story even sadder; TMZ reports that Hank Deutschendorf has died of an apparent suicide.

And it appears that now the nerds are at it again.

With a few simple clicks, users can learn who shot the Miley Cyrus vehicle So Undercover (Things to Come cinematographer Denis Lenoir), which sequel in the Hellraiser franchise featured a performance from a young Adam Scott (the fourth one), or how old Taraji P. Henson is (who looks that good at 46?!). As a repository for loose factoids from in and around the world of screen entertainment, it can’t be beat. As a source for critical perspectives on those same films, however... hoo boy. Just take a gander at any comment section for a movie’s page and marvel at the IMDb is the site where rabid anti-Ghostbusters zealots congregated to downvote Paul Feig’s movie into oblivion weeks before its actual release, and the newly-released IMDb Top 10 provides an even clearer view of its user base.

The film had a $144 million budget, and is falling short of its $300 million break-even benchmark.

Dear Ghostbusters haters, are you still angry about Paul Feig‘s female reboot? Are your hands tired from typing one vile, misogynistic comment after the next on YouTube? Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot won’t be the only Ghostbusters movie hitting theaters this summer. If you’re itching to revisit Ivan Reitman’s 1984 comedy classic, then you might want to wait until June, when the original Ghostbusters returns to the big screen. The special re-release honors both the 32nd anniversary (sure, why not) of the film, as well as the release of Feig’s reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
