Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department is giving Acadiana something to bark about!

According to Developing Lafayette, the new dog park, located behind Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, is set to begin construction on April 3rd with a ground-breaking ceremony taking place at 3:30 p.m.

The brand new dog park will feature a large fenced in area with benches, canine agility/exercise equipment and a pavilion for public use.

Good news for all of your furry friends! The addition of the Beaullieu Park dog park will bring Lafayette's municipal dog park count up to two, with the dog park at Graham Brown Memorial Park being the first. And once Moncus Park opens there will be a third dog park in the Lafayette area, how paw-some is that?
