Australian Police Chase Involving A Kangaroo [Video]

This past Monday in Melbourne, Australia, there was a police chase. This wasn't your ordinary everyday high speed police chase, but a chase involving a kangaroo. The kangaroo was in the parking garage of the Melbourne Airport and must have been wandering around for days.

The kangaroo had ware on his nails due to hopping on asphalt for days. When police attempted to capture the marsupial, the kangaroo started licking his arms, which is a sign of stress. Police then had to call in a wildlife officer to subdue him. The wildlife officer used a tranquilizer gun to subdue the kangaroo which you can see in the video below.

The kangaroo is being kept in captivity for a while to be looked after and when ready, will be sent back into the wild.
