[UPDATE] The name of the arrested man is Brandon Scott Lavergne of Church Point. Lavergne's address is listed at 143 Elaine Rd. on the St. Landry Parish Sex Offender website. Back in 2000, he was convicted of aggravated oral sexual battery. Also, according to the website, he is the driver of a white, 2011 Chevrolet Silverado.
