Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs Has Died

MSNBC.COM has reported that Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has died. He was 56 years old.

Apple released the following statement:

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve." Apple has posted a memorial page in Jobs' honor.

Earlier this year, Jobs recently retired from his CEO post after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Jobs offered his personal insight into his life and beliefs in this 2005 Commencement Address at Stanford University.
