Another day, and oh, what’s this, another Alien: Covenant teaser image — surprise, surprise. But there are a couple of things different about this one: For starters, it’s visually sleeker and more sparse than the others, and it may very well give us our first sneak peek at Michael Fassbender’s new synthetic, Walter. Or it might just be a promotional image for Fassbender’s new solo concert series.

The Alien Anthology Twitter account shared yet another teaser image for Covenant, this time featuring Fassbender curiously sitting at a piano, all dressed in white in a white room. It looks sort of like an Apple ad, but if the latest iHome update is Fassbender playing piano in my living room, count me in:

Ooooh, pretty, right? Unlike the other recently released photos, this one doesn’t come with a number sequence — probably because there’s always something fishy about these darn droids.

It’s pretty obvious that these photos are counting down to the premiere of the first trailer, which will presumably arrive just in time for Christmas, unless Ridley Scott is intent on torturing us all the way into 2017. Joke’s on him because after the 2016 we’ve all had, nothing could possibly bother us anymore, right? RIGHT??

Anyhow. Alien: Covenant also stars Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demian Bichir, Billy Crudup, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz and Carmen Ejogo, with James Franco recently confirming his late addition to the cast — and giving us the wacky sci-fi reunion with McBride we never asked for (but will humbly accept).

Alien: Covenant hits theaters on May 19, 2017.
