Accident On North Louisiana Interstate Causes Corn Dogs To Litter The Highway
An accident in North Louisiana this morning caused a corn dog truck to flip over, which littered 400 boxes of corn dogs onto the road and caused the I-20/I-220 interchange to be closed.
Shreveport Police Department said that the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on the I-220 bridge where it connects to LA 3132. No one was injured in the accident and authorities said the scene was cleared about 12:30 p.m.
The accident cause the truck to flip over, releasing 400 boxes of Foster Farms corn dogs onto the road. Officials say the 18-wheeler was heading to California. The company also has locations in Farmerville, Louisiana and Hope, Arkansas. Here is a view of the scene via Twitter below:
