A Perfect Circle – No New Record?

According to Blabbermouth, and A Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel, the band is just about done with a new song, which they'll play on their summer tour that starts next Wednesday (June 29th). However, Howerdel goes on to say that he's not sure they'll do another album right now because he doesn't think people are interested due to lack of patience and wanting everything NOW.

I get what he's saying, but I am TOTALLY interested in a new album! I still get that anticipation when a band I'm interested in has an album coming out, and APC is one of those bands! Bring it, Billy!!!

"As for whether the yet-to-be-titled track will lead to a full album's worth of material, Howerdel told The Pulse Of Radio that he doesn't see a full-length record happening. 'I like records,' he said. 'I still like records. I have great memories of having anticipation of hearing a whole album and ingesting it slowly and drinking it all in. To me, I have desires of making a record, but it just doesn't seem like people are interested. It just seems that everyone likes to digest things much quicker and have less patience.'"

What was all that talk about back in May??? Billy, are you messing with us? You mysterious bastard!!! Gimme the answers I seek!!
