3 Arrested In Shooting Death Of Melville Teen

The body of 15 year old Travon Edwards was found in a field near Melville Friday. Today a 33 year old mother and two of her children were arrested in connection with the death of Edwards. Capt. Clay Higgins of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says 33 year old Twanda Louray Washington was arrested and charged with obstruction of Justice and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Washington's 12 year old son was charged with negligent homicide while his 15 year old brother was charged with obstruction of justice.
