2012 Olympic Supergroup To Include Beatles, Stones, and Pistols?

With next years Olympics taking place in London, England really wants to show the world what they are made of which could include The Beatles,The Rolling Stones and The Sex Pistols.(Those are  the first things that come to my mind when I think about England too!)

With Oscar winning Danny Boyle directing, plans are already underway  for  the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olypics.

This is what gold medal winning rower Steve Redgrave had to say about it to The People newspaper:

"If Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo came together with great bands like the Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols it would be fantastic. The London Games gives us a chance to celebrate our own history. We have to show the world what we are good at. Those bands are a huge part of our history. It would kick off the party and put us centre of the world's attention."

I'm on board with you guys 100 percent! (I'm sure the rest of the world is too!) I'll keep my fingers crossed!
