The Grindhouse Pays Tribute To Slayer’s Jeff Hanneman This Sunday Night

We here at The Grindhouse and Planet Radio 105.1 are sad to hear the news of the passing of Slayer co-lead guitarist Jeff Hanneman. So this Sunday night, it's 'Slayer Sunday' on The Grindhouse.

In honor of Jeff's memory, we will play Slayer tracks in chronological order starting with their debut album 'Show No Mercy' all the way to their latest studio album 'World Painted Blood'. We will also have special guests live on the phone to speak about Jeff, including Kyle Thomas of Exhorder, Kirk Windstein from Down and Crowbar and more!

Jeff was a major factor in the songwriting process musically and lyrically. Jeff singulary wrote some of Slayer's biggest anthems, including: "Raining Blood", "War Ensemble", "South of Heaven", "Seasons in the Abyss" and "Angel of Death". You will definitely hear these tracks plus other tracks from EP's, live albums, soundtracks and more.
