According to their official updated tour schedule, the one-of-a-kind sound put down by incredible Texas-Blues/Rock trio ZZ Top is headed for Shreveport's historic Municipal Auditorium!  The infamous rockers have announced that the finale of their 50th anniversary North American tour wraps up in Shreveport on November 9th.

This is certainly not ZZ Tops first time to play in the area.  The band has been rocking venues in the Shreveport area since June of 1972 when they tore the roof off of the Municipal Auditorium in a time that true fans refer to as Antequam cresceret barba eorum (before the beards).  Since then, they have included our fair city in many legendary tour schedules.

Cheap Trick and Lynyrd Skynyrd are set to join Billy Gibbons, Frank Beard, and Dusty Hill (AKA ZZ Top) for several shows during the late Summer/Fall, North American dates on this tour - but there is no word yet on who (if anyone) might be joining the trio here in Shreveport.
