You Could Win $5,000 with the Second Harvest 2022 Duck Derby

Second Harvest Food Bank is giving you a chance to win a $5,000 Grand Prize with their 2022 Duck Derby!

The 2022 Second Harvest Acadiana Duck Derby At Moncus Park

Second Harvest Food Bank will host its first-ever Acadiana Duck Derby to help provide meals for children and families facing hunger in Acadiana.

It's all happening this Saturday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Moncus Park on Johnston St. in Lafayette.

The 2022 Acadiana Duck Derby will feature 15,000 ducks dropped into Wetland Pond at Moncus Park.

"The first 11 ducks to cross the finish line will be identified by the ducks’ unique race numbers and announced at the conclusion of the race. (Winners need not be present to win)" according to Second Harvest.

If your duck crosses the finish line first, you'll win $5,000!

To get in the action you'll need to adopt a rubber duck for $5 over at no-hunger.org/ducks.
