Woman Going Blind After Tattooing Her Eyeballs Purple and Blue

I mean, this one is a no-brainer. Well, to most people it is.

A law student and a mother of five ignored the advice of pretty much everyone around her and got the whites of her eyes tattooed blue and purple...and now, she may never see again.

I can't make this up.

Anaya Peterson apparently wanted to look like a model named Amber Luke, who did the exact same thing and lost her vision for three weeks. While Amber got her eyesight back, it's looking like Anaya might be permanently blind.

Anaya says that she was originally going to tattoo only one eyeball -- just in case she was to go blind. She went ahead and did both, against the advice of her youngest daughter. Now, she is in the hospital with a severe reaction to the ink. She also has an increased risk for cataracts.

Anaya is a big fan of body modification. She has numerous piercings and tattoos, along with a split tongue (think snake) -- she says she regrets tattooing the whites of her eyes though.

Just when you thought you had seen it all... there are tattooing whites of eyeballs.
