William Shatner To Receive ‘Honorary Headbanger’ Award At Golden Gods

William Shatner will be honored at this year’s Golden Gods Awards.  The actor will receive the Honorary Headbanger Award for making his name outside the metal world but still embodying its spirit.  Shatner will actually step into the metal world a bit later this year when he releases a new album called Seeking Major Tom, which features hard rock covers and guest vocals from the likes of Ian Paice, Ritchie Blackmore and Zakk Wylde.  The Golden Gods Awards take place April 20th in L-A and you can learn more and vote for nominees at RevolverMag.com.
