White House Petition Was Made Asking To Make It Illegal For Ben Affleck To Play Batman

The internet almost exploded last night when it was announced that Academy Award Winner Ben Affleck has been cast to play billionaire playboy by day, vigilante by night Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel opposite Henry Cavill.

I, myself are one of the upset and confused fans wondering why did they cast Affleck. Now, don't get me wrong, I think he is talented and you really need to see his Oscar winning film Argo if you have not seen it yet.

Someone took it upon them selves to create a White house petition asking the Obama administration to make it illegal for Affleck to play Batman. Yes, this really happened as you can see below:

Unfortunately, the petition was removed and this will never happen, so it looks like the man who once played Daredevil will indeed play Batman without any legal ramifications.

Now, maybe this also could be what I call 'Heath Ledger syndrome'. At first, I was appalled that Ledger was cast as the Joker and then he proved everyone wrong. Unfortunately, we lost Ledger right after filming of the Dark Knight.
