Warning! Salesman In Acadiana Trading Meat For Pills

The Better Business Bureau(x?) of Acadiana is warning residents to be on the look out for a door-to-door salesman who is trading meat for prescription pills!

It is, of course, illegal to obtain prescription medications by any means other than being prescribed them by a physician.

From KATC:

One resident said after the salesman tried to sell her meat at a local apartment, he first asked if she worked for a law enforcement agency then offered her the product of her choice as a trade for prescription drugs she might have in her home.

 

He even went to an apartment for the disabled and elderly, possibly looking to take advantage of the prescription pill situation. A manager of the apartments told him to leave immediately, and then called the company and authorities.
